Welcome to The First Inaugural A Trouble with Words Annual Award Show! This is when we give out accolades for the best stuff from the last 12 months. However in a surprise twist we’ll be awarding the things that we experienced and not necessarily the things released this year. We make our own rules. It’s part of what makes us so charming and full of life. First let me give you a little history on how this came to be.
The Academy of A Trouble with Words Best of 2012 is a professional honorary organization and maintains a voting membership of 2 as of 2012. The award was founded in 2012 by a committee of Justin Morse and Joshua LeMay. The award is not a real thing and no actual statue is given to the winners. Which is fine since they don’t know who we are and wouldn’t care if they did. Honestly the only award I wanted to give this year was to my microphone for consistently picking up my breathing and reliably popping at all the right times. So instead I’m just going to dedicate the whole bloody award show to it. I hate you mic. Congratulations on all your accomplishments!
Now with that out of the way I wanted to take a minute to warn you of the amazing things coming next year. Stay with us and you’ll be treated to a larger amount of videos and spoof posters then ever before. Look forward to a higher quality podcast in both content and technical achievement. We plan on investing in better equipment and even changing the format of the podcast around a bit to enhance the overall experience. In other words we’re taking this whole thing to another level. Prepare to be mildly impressed.
